SOLD: FS Off to College+Car

Re: FS: Off to College+Car

Would you be willing to sell the aixiz modules+drivers and possibly diode press, without the diodes?

Re: FS: Off to College+Car

What are the HENEs outputs? I would like to reserve one until I get some money, which will be later this week or next week?

If you could help me find a compatible PSU I would appreciate it :)

Thanks
-Matt

Re: FS: Off to College+Car

Yep that should work, although $125 seems a bit overpriced to me. You should be able to find ones around $80 on eBay that will work for both of them (that's how much mine cost me)

The green HeNe outputs 3.8mW, the red one outputs 18mW

Let me know which one you want to reserve, thanks

Re: FS: Off to College+Car

yeah I looked it up. the red takes 2600V, the green takes 2800 IIRC both at 6.5mA. so anything in that range will be good.

Re: FS: Off to College+Car

This will be my first tube, so do they both have a good amount of plasma in the tube when on?

I suspect that the tubes themselves will look the same when on, and only he beams will be different,

Correct me if i'm wrong

I think Ill reserve the GREEN thanks :)

Re: FS: Off to College+Car

Yep plenty of life left on the tubes, very spoiling lasers for a first gas :p

And yes both tube's glow will look the same (and the same as any HeNe), only the output will be a different color (and the mirror coatings may be different colors)

Green HeNe reserved  PM me please when you are ready to buy it, thanks!

Re: FS: Off to College+Car

yep that red one is sweet. very hot and overspec tube. I suspect its overfilled. (not too uncommon) it wont stay that power forever...but it'll last a long time (likely hundreds of hours) before dropping to spec. Its always a pleasant surprise when you get a tube like that.

Re: FS: Off to College+Car

I need a functional PSU, not a fancy one. Under $100 preferably

Im putting this tube in an acrylic case, so i dont care how the PSU looks...

THANKS

No prob. I'll help you look.

Edit: if you put it in an acrylic case don't forget to let it breathe. :)

Re: FS: Off to College+Car

I've dealt with packrats for PSU's before, they work flawlessly
