Last Wednesday I went for my weekly bike ride with the mates in a -25°C wind chill. (Felt more like -45° when we rode at 20kMph into the bloody wind.) Almost lost my nose to frostbite I did.
I have friends up in Nunavut who just went through a spell of -65°C and they went out to get a video! (Goose down helps there I'm told.)
Now, before you get yer knickers in a knot, I'm having fun here, OK? Truth is, this forum really is a global community and I think it's really cool that I can talk here with Aussies, Brits, Chinese, Germans, Swedes, Canadians, Slovenians, Americans, etc. etc. I say welcome them all (except the spammers of course
) and let's hear their stories!
BTW, a laser pointer works for about 5 seconds in -25°C...
