Does anyone have experiences with this host:
DealExtreme: $3.84 5W AA LED Keychain Flashlight

It seems to be a nice build, cheap and small.
Would it be possible to build a laser with it? Maybe even a blue ray?

Read the comments on DX. Someone says they are difficult to mod since only the tail comes apart. The rest is glued/forced together.

It would be a great build for the looks. but you'd have to assemble it in a way that you would push everything from the bottom to the top - hoping that it would work

I'm sure with some hard effort you could get it done, many people im sure have.

it's possible i'm sure. But if your not very experience you may want to try with something easier...
but almost any flashlight can be made into a laser.
