Haha it's just hard when these hosts keep popping up and you know the diodes will be there. I too have about three hosts with big plans, and I keep buying other stuff

HAHA so true. I am also saving for a gaming PC at ~$2000 lol. I have 4 hosts to fill and 1 diode that is MIA which i was trying to return to DTR But when these offers/deals pop up, theyre almost irresistible Can't wait to see your future builds theyre always something "special" :beer:

And sinner. I wish I could have jumped on a v1 . I bought one from a member that looked like it was in a box of screws for three years for almost double what your asking. . So obviously , anodizing is in order. Keep an eye out for a black anodized msv1 sporting a 520 of ??? mw with green Gitd

What are the dimensions on the v3 ?

Thanks NKO29 :beer: and Tmack I'll be looking out for the black V1 of yours for sure Wow I didnt know you paid that much for an old V1, I would keep them in stock from now on. I made the last batch a year ago and I have been out of stock ever since, these were just the bare heatsinks with no tailcaps and battery tubes, I had them re-made and re polished and I thought it's black friday so I should sell them quick.

The MS-V3 Host is 5.5" long, 1.0" Dia. Heatsink is 40mm and screws inside the host, There is no visible set screw outside the host, The battery barrell is 66.50mm and allows only unprotected 18650's, laptop pulls or panasonics, XXXfires are also not recommended because their wrapping makes them larger than 18.8mm and it will not come out, I tried 2x18350's they will fit without a spring but the tailcap doesnot screws on completely. They are 3-4mm a bit too long.

Thanks sinner. I'll let you know soon if they aren't all gone. And yeah I think I paid $40 IIRC so it wouldn't have been so bad if it was in good shape, but it definitely wasn't. Oh well, give me an excuse to send it out for anodizing .
