Simple driver with a LM358 chip on it...

Hi.
Does anyone know the schematic of a driver board ~16mm x 10mm with a LM358 I.C, a tact switch and a couple of transistors and few resistors supposed to drive a 1500mW violet, was inside a 14mm pointer tube ? No potentiometer trimmer. It is masked white, unable to follow its traces to draw its schematic.

Looks to me like a simple buck driver, usng the LM358 opamp to drive a transistor to deliver a constant current to the diode
(Battery voltage should in theory be higher than the diode voltage)

unless i'm mistaken, hard to know without battery specs, diode specs, and driver schematic/parts names
