Hey all,

A friend of mine is looking for a laser pointer that is powerful enough to see the beam in the daylight but not able to burn. It can be any color, and cost no more than $50.

Thanks
Robert

He don't want to burn with the laser. 300mW is definitely in the burning zone.

^ 1.8W is very visible in daytime :) (not direct sunlight)

On topic you are probably better off buying one of swimmin's lasers. Either laser will more than suit your needs AND it wont cost a arm and a leg! :)

I meant in direct sunlight. On an overcast day, especially if it's humid, 500mW is visible.
