okay so I found someone with a credit card who wants one also, so we might buy 2. I was reading on the O-like website and they say to ship batteries seperately? I was wondering if thats what you people that have these lasers did, or if they are fine shiped with batteries. also, does the company really matteR? I was thinkin about buying them off bestofferbuy, because you can get the 3.6v batteries and chargers there too.. would shipping all that together from them cause any concern? thanks.

Its ''Dilda'' :D

And two 3v rechargeble batteries, a charger and the laser comes in the same package.

Buy the laser from O-like, buy 3.6v charger from.. Somewhere else.

yeah thats what I was thinking about doing, sence it comes with it for 45$.. its 55$ for the laser, charger, and 3.6v batteries on bestofferbuy... im gonna check if interstate or some other place near me sells rechargeable 3.6v batteries. if i can find some ill just do the O-like deal

IIRC... O=Like supplies 3.0v CR2 batteries...and the charger does not
fully charge 3.6V CR2 batteries....

only one I found was 30$ for a charger and some batteries at interstate... the reg cr123a batteries are like 3$ each right? about for how long will one burn things? because i know my nova x-85 will only light matches and stuff on fresh batteries

instead of springs i used a few if the magnets from harvested sleds stacked on eachother makes a very nice connection.

Woe it looks as if you got yourself a case of those batteries. I read and have read many posts of using the 3.6v batteries in the Dilda but it seems like that would hurt the laser but you all say it will not.

the laser spot on my "new style" Dilda has a bright line passing through it. It looks like this ---O--- and it is from the diode I have seen this line in the Wicked lasers Red Pulsar laser and it always got brighter with current increase. It ususlly means the diode is under a strain and could go out. Do any of your Dildas have this line from the cladding layers of the diode passing through the spot? It is hard to tell from the YouTube videos.

So the 3.6v batteries give you more power, about 25% more as I have read......but what about the Pot on the circuit board, can't you just turn the current up or is it better to leave it alone so the diode to have some voltage regulation?

If you just order the dilda with out charger and batteries at o-like.com it's $44.50 you got a better chance of customs not taken this because they won't be able to test it.
I order my charger and batteries this weekend of ebay, four cr2 3.6v and charger about $15.

All the dildas have this line, I've never heard it's going to die because of this. Wicked lasers is a whole different story.

And I repeat we all here use 3.6V cells on it and noone's has dead. Belive us and get the 3.6V cells, you'll be amazed. The only negative effect is that it will warm up faster, but just make sure the laser is not burning and nothing happens :P

I've made 3-4 min cycle with 3.6V and still survived :D

Albert

Any charger you use on the 3.6v cr2's will need to have a higher voltage output then the cr2 to fully charge them.

Some of those 3v cr2 chargers only output 3.4v which isn't enough obviously to fully charge a 3.6v cr2. You need a charger with 4.2v output to fully charge them.

Well I tested the rechargeables that came with the laser and they are at 3.3 volts and the Energizer Cr2 batteries I have are 3.2v. This is just an FYI and I will try to locate some 3.6v batts. However 3.3v is not bad either. I'll let you know what I find. Thanks for your input.

well so those of you with the 0-like charger and batteries, did you have them shipped separately ? i probably will anyway

and somewhat off topic, are there any reviews, opinions about the greens on 0-like? are they the same as dx? and what power is best if I just want a strong beam, 50mw vs like 30mw does it really matter? sorry the only laser i have is a nova 85mw at the moment so i dont know.
