Sharp 473nm 55mW Laser Build

Please forgive my ignorance, but what Sharp diode is this? Part number?

Not sure there was one. Pretty sure these were a step on the way to 488 diodes.

They were a stepping stone to get 488nm diodes and do not follow a standard naming scheme for sharp's other diodes, and are no longer being made.

There could be some left out there somewhere as I seriously doubt we got them all. You would need to look for a Sharp diode rated at 480nm or 488nm. There are some Chinese sellers that could be found on Alibaba that could still have some of these same diodes for sale. It would take some searching and asking laser diode sellers if they know of or have anything like these diodes.

Try asking Dora,Alice and Cherry...they should have a few of these left or the osram alternative.
