server downtime update thread 2

to be extra safe i had my host check the raid controller. there is no sign of hardware problems.

kernel has been upgraded (having to reboot allowed that since before i had upgraded kernel but not rebooted) so hopefully that fixes any potential problem that might have caused the crash.

i will be monitoring the server closely.

im still tailing the logs and not seeing any messages similar than before. should i notice anything odd i will update in this thread. however,all appears to be OK
