I recently ran into a huge pile of old comic books while cleaning by basement.
They all are in great condition, and are in protective plastic sleeves.
The prices are based on what comics in similar condition have sold for.

Where do you live? sometimes it's hard to sell comics because people don't trust you and shipping them. Craigslist might be nice or pawning them to your local comic book store

There are decent res. scans right there, for all to see; and judge.

the problem with comics is you'll never sell them anywhere close to what the price guides say they are worth. I've got an amazing spiderman #300 (first appearance of venom) in mint condition and cant' sell it for even $50. I've over 4,000 comics and the only way I could sell them all would be in one bulk deal for whatever.
