If you're in Australia, why would you want to get a pocket pal into the USA?

Peace,
dave

What I meant if I sold a pocket pal laser to some-one in USA how would I get it through USA customs?

Yes, But I make mine.

So how would I get a built one into the USA?

maybe I'll just take off the little ring that makes negative contact and E-mail the person recieving the item telling him/her to put the ring back in the build and it will work so when customs trys it, it will be broken just like what I put on the package "broken flashlight".

Yeah... that should do it... I'm not an expert in criminal activity...

Your signature says that you are just "planning" and collecting the parts to begin building lasers. However, you say you "make" yours and go on to describe how you would temporarily disable one you built. Even with my VERY limited interaction with you, I begin to mistrust you.

A lie by omission is still a lie

What meant If I do sell one of my lasers I'd do somthing along the line of that to disable and give the buyer simple instructions to make it work again so they wouldn't have to worry about customs.

I'll have to edit my signature.

Maybe you should build it first ( it may not work)... then you can figure out
how you will illegally ship it to Countries that have a Ban on such items..

HEY ! I gotta plan !

Just sell them in Australia, must be plenty of people there that would like to have one. Then, no worries mate ! ;D

If you have a look on Ebay you see plenty of class 3B and IV lasers being sold. They are sold as OEM parts/assemblies and not complete lasers. The idea is you integrate these into your own completed system. The only way to legally ship a class 3b or IV part to the USA would be as an OEM part afaik. So for instance, just the laser head/module without any of the supporting enclosure etc....
