Ah that's where my Christmas money will go to. Its amazingly prized Ι'll definitely see about getting it cause Ι've been craving a powerful green in your beautiful host. Edit Fuck it can you hold that deal for like a week or 2 trinh? then I'll have some Christmas $$ to buy it! I am so in love with both the color and power and also your beautiful host! got another one of your hosts for my 488 and I love it.

Woo Woo!!
I know that you know how bright strong greens are but, you will still be surprised to just how bright:D
Yep I think I will. I'm really locking forward to it as I loved his brass host also got any 10440 battery recommendations?

Iv'e only seen 3 brands in 10440 size. Trustfire "which isn't bad believe it or not in 10440" and the Efest which is all I use.
There's another blue wrapped 10440, "not a Trustfire" thats not bad.. PIKCELL which are rated at 350mAh which is the same as the Efests.

Using 10440 cells to power this high powered laser is not a great idea. These green diodes put out a lot of heat making them run very hot in tiny EDC hosts. I can see the attraction for having such a powerful diode in a tiny host, but expect very short run times. And these tiny batteries will also give you short run times between charges. Green diodes have high forward voltages that pull more power out of batteries than red or blue diodes.

Yea I'll also use relatively low capacity IMR 10440s so I expect small run times but I don't care all that much cause the battery itself will also charge very fast and I could always get a bigger cap one and get a drop in power with it. Ps GSS The other brand is PK cell IIRC

Yup, I meant the PK cells. I never bought them but a buyer of my phaser had good luck using them on a 2W blue..

Hi, Yes those 10440's are only good for a SM 520, larger than that duties are very short and they get very hot so keep those duties down. If I see correctly thats a Brass host and Brass isn't the greatest heat dissipator, Aluminum or Copper would be much better.
I only use Brass for the battery tubes and tail caps not heat sinks. Over all its a nice build the 03's are very bright.
Anyway have fun and be safe.
Rich:)

Thanks, I also saw some efest 10440s imr bats, will these do better( here: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Efest-IMR-...658654?hash=item4b672eaa1e:g:yRcAAOSwvrddI2yy )? also I have another host like this that I'll use for a 488 built 10440 too. I think the 10440 will be much happier with the lower drain current of the 488 right?
