I just finished building the 638nm pointer and wanted to sell them, the price was updated at the top of the topic.

495 diodes do not produce ir. Just get goggles that cover 495.

OD6 goggles, while great to have for high power lasers, are a bit over kill for the 495nm ones. Typically, they output only 150 mW at maximum. A cheap pair of red goggles should cover you for this laser.
