Thanks for the correction. I got parts of the "before" pic mixed up with the "after". I guess it wouldn't do any good labeling input, because all answers would be wrong if the circuit is wrong.

OP, it has become obvious you need to scale this down to a single IC with a single diode. Master that, and move up. If a circuit with one IC and one resistor is too complex for you, perhaps you should be buying pre-built drivers and not trying your own.

Just wanted to know if my newest wiring is okay and I believe it is.

I also only intend on using this for 5 seconds max at a time anyway
