Well, I recently tried cleaning my lens for my 1000mw laser pointer with a q-tip and alcohol. Little did I know that the Q-tip had some plastic sticking out of the cotton ball. Now it is badly scratched, and I cant seem to fix it. :yabbem: Anyway I can find a new one? Here are some pics.

Really? That's the lens they use in those things? You'd think it'd melt long before you'd be able to scratch it.

You can get 445/405nm lens replacements at Aixiz.com, O-like (buy it with the module), or at the site listed above.

Yeah, that'll work, and it'll probably improve your output power because it's a better lens than those plastic ones.

I do hope you're planning on getting some goggles, because it's not fun focusing them without them.

Actually OPs picture looks to me like the lens is simply still wet with alcohol.
But I believe him when he says it's ruined.

I was facepalming over the chinese shop's decision to include plastic lenses in these....

Too replace the lens you'll need to determine the focal length of the old lens.
You can do that by holding the old lens above something like print.
See how much you can magnify the print without going out of focus.
Measure that distance in millimeters

Well, assuming that the original manufacturers used the same cheapo lenses you find in Aixiz modules, he should be able to just guess and check the focus with the new lens.
