I know this does not fall into the exact class that this area was allocated for
but I'm posting this here anyway
I recently won an ebay auction on a Scientech model 361 LPM without a sensor head.
I did some hunting around for information on it and was trying to find the model number
of the sensor I now need. At first I had thought if I cant find one cheap or quickly I would
just stick a TEC on a heatsink like I see a lot of people doing.
Well in chat MarioMaster, Eudomonium and others filled me in on the real truth of the matter in that it
is not so simple!, the sensor head has internal electronics!
Conveniently that same day - earlier in the late AM hours I had emailed Scientech and
asked for info on what head I need to buy and if they could please send me any documentation
on my unit also.
I was quite surprised that halfway thru the business hours of that day I had gotten
my stuff I requested from Scientech!! Model numbers and a PDF manual
I never expected to be helped so quickly and am thankful to them and the chatroom
guys for being helpful in this matter.
