I am going to review the Arcane 2.0 635nm Bright Red laser i got off Sci Fi lasers. (sorry for massive pictures)

This is my second order from Sci-Fi Lasers and i was impressed but i had some of the same issues (read below)

To start i ordered it on the 6th of November 2015 and after getting lost and other delays it finally came two days after x-mas. I was kind of expecting there to be some sort of delay as with my first order ,and a replacement part for the laser when it stopped working, there were delays with the items too.
Firstly when it arrived it was in 3 sections. The cap at the bottom for the batteries and the lens to focus the beam.

Unlike it said on the website there was no power check or manual but i am currently waiting for the power check to arrive by email.

The output is 900mw-1100mw but i can not confirm this as at the time of writing this i have no power check (when i get it i will update the post)

It is rather heavy and big.
Here it is compared to an average laser pen.[/FONT]

And here it is next to a SF502B Blue laser.

It is very bright and can easily burn paper and light matches.
Even in sort of light conditions the beam is visible and at night is is just crazy how clear it is!

As it is over 5mw you obviously need proper safety goggles (the blue ones)

Just to compare the beams here is a picture i attempted to take With my most powerful lasers (sort of failed as my hand is at the top):

Over all i would 100% recomend this laser to anyone and the website aswell!

I hereby quote:
Current draw? Current regulation window? Beam diameter? Beam shape? Beam divergence? Temperature rise? Driver topology? Case material? Case dimensions? Shipping time? Lens/aperture features? Switch mechanism? Product link?

Power reading + pictures doesn't really qualify as a review.

I'm all for that! A laser forum is the perfect place for it... just not the review section. A review is a critical evaluation of the product and the manufacturers claims. "It's big, bright, and burns stuff" isn't a review, it's a general description of most lasers.

I broke the image tags. Please resize the images to something more reasonable.
