Sci Am Argon laser






Looking for argon lines. Radius>2m. I may be interested in several R%/T%... depending on price. I want to say LOL but I don't know if that violates the etiquette for this forum.
 
Today is a sad day in the world of laser hobbyists. The Scientific American argon ion laser is being dismantled to make room for new projects. It has always been more of a concept project than a useful device. It is a miracle that it worked at all. The 120 Hz pulse makes it less than useful for optical experiments (holography, etc.). At least I got to share it with fellow laser enthusiasts before it retires.
