Scammer alert ! Warning about the person Jtag

I dont understand how Paypal can not side with you when you provided proof of delivery. I thought Paypal would have absorbed the error...because after all Paypal was the one who got scammed...and you do pay fees for using their system. You need an ID to open a PObox. I would call the place where his box is and report that someone is using it to commit mail fraud. You can easily email them all the proof. Plus he is importing a lazor. You must get the law involved because he has committed many high crimes.

Good luck.

Paypal is finding a reasons to get rid of the problem.
First they want a proof of delivery. I gave them the proof.
Then it was "An unauthorized account activity claim". I mailed them about the scammer.
Now they said the payment is a gift so I have no sellers protection ?

What is next ? Importing high power lasers is illegal ?
These banks have always a reason to make their action legitimate.

Was the payment sent as a gift...
You can tell by the Fees that you were charged when the
payment was made.

If there were no fees charged to you on the payment then
you are screwed just like another member recently..:cryyy:

Most of the payments I got are charged with fee but not this one. This payment was sent as gift. Looks like I am screwed. :yabbmad:

Even if it wasn't sent as gift could the fraud be prevented ? The scammer has prepared the case thoroughly.

If its a gift , I'm afraid its case closed...with an expensive lesson learned :/ .

If it was a gift you won't get anywhere with PayPal. Reason being, Massive amounts of people online were requesting people pay for goods via "gift" to avoid PayPal fees, Which in the end fucks over Paypal because people don't want to pay $2 in fees. So from now on make sure when people have sent you money it's sent via goods, If it's not refund the payment and tell them if they don't send via goods then you can't deal with them. PayPal will limit your account if they see you receiving heaps of gift payments from all the way around the world, and they'll lock your bank/credit card(if you have one attached to your account) for 12 months. I'm not even joking, This happened to me and I had $11k in my credit card and there was not a thing I could do. Hours and hours on the phone for weeks on end getting no where.

EDIT:
I did some digging for Blord, I think I've found something really useful to PayPal! OK, Here's what I went though. He gave me the email, Which is: bancheebro@gmail.com A quick search on Google, Comes up with heaps of videos of him playing Modern Warfare 3 Games and selling stuff, BUT, Then I came across this link.
http://about.me/mw2
On this page it has: "Email:Bancheebro@gmail.com AIM:UJELLYOFJTAG"
Gives us his email which we already know and more of the Jtag alias he was using here on LPF to scam Blord. Then we read on....
"Hello i am a Host on Mw2. I am 18 years old and live in LA California. I have a Falcon JTAG and i host for this site "
What's this prove? That he in fact goes by the Alias Jtag which conveniently is the alias used to say that he was sending you money, which now proves it is in fact the user jtag's account. Meaning he intentionally sent the money. We just have to link it to his LPF account. Try showing them that and see what they say.

if he is the only one who uses the alias of "jtag1337" / "UJELLYOFJTAG", you can find out his real name via google searching quite easily

you can link it to 'CurtTCaMx' and then you're already there

although connecting aliases together like that is speculation, hence i'm not posting any of the actual info here, i have been unable to link them in any other way apart from the fact they have paypal + CODMW and live(d) in US and/or Canada

this 'UJELLYOFJTAG' alias certainly has a reputation of paypal scamming on the web

anyone tried ringing the ups place and asking for some of the names?

@Billiam...
Nice work..

@MB... that may be worth a try

I wish Tech_Junkie was here to do his behind the scenes
magic.

Not true at all. Mail, bank, and Paypal fraud goes right to FBI. They will seas his/families house, back accounts...and anything else to pay off depts...and prosecution fees. Then Andrew/Ced/ect gets to meet Bubba with his 10 inch Tootsie Roll in federal prison for a few years after that. People are dumb...you cant hide yourself on the internet. Every single computer out there has identification. Using proxy/firewall/IP or not they can find you. When the government gets involved its game over. Its only a matter of time now. So far his scams are on kids, now he playing with adults.

These are the possible ramifications, But the reality is, It's probably not going to happen. PayPal will just close the dispute and move on.

Glad to be of help guys.
