I make firm tommytoes into salsa... it's strong stuff, tough to eat without a lot of brittle chips and a firm grip on a hard bottle of beer.

This just made a happy tomato.... less so.

I have found that the members of the tomato species are a giving group that are happy to sacrifice themselves for the good of society (or a delicious party dip)

Peace,

Hi, is there a resource which has the manufacturer specifications for all these different blue-voilet laser diodes? Might be helpful when speaking of the differences.

BTW this one here is a B0323 laser at about 50mW, pic taken with a Phillips Webcam 1/10thsec exp. which is able to see the 405nm, whereas I found that my digicams were unable to see the beam.

So, to verify, this IS for 12x Blu-Rays? I followed it originally, up until shortly after it was discovered that they weren't 12x, but are these, now (for sure) 12x sleds?

there are no 12x BR's this thread should be closed or die or something. Maybe jake can change the title so people stop posting in here. If you want a powerful 6x BR go to AMK's super long 6x thread for $55

Unfortunately, don’t expect to run to your nearest retailer and pickup a drive with the new laser. The development and standardization time required for Blu-ray devices are painstakingly long. Because of this, the likelihood of seeing the new high capacity Blu-ray drives out on the market is still one to two years away. By this time, who knows what will be available.

Can i replace my 803 whit this and use the same driver i have FlexDrive and just ajust the curent to a 200 mA? Do i need to get a dumy load to set the curent?

Read the whole thread. These are NOT 12X diodes. They are low powered readers.

Peace,
dave
