Hi,
What happened to the finish on that host? It used to look like this.

I do not want the host and I do not want my money back from you. You did the work, you need to be paid for it.
I have the host in my hand, I know what I see, I have a 20x loop.
anyways, I can’t deal with imperfections, and if I could get my module out I wouldn’t care, as long as that is ok. It didn’t look right, but maybe because there was some of that clear crap in front of the laser hole.
Whatever, I don’t care about the money, I get some every week for doing nothing thanks to covid, I just want really nice stuff. I will just have to save for a lab laser. And I always complain here because I didn’t realize that the standards for diy laser stuff was so low, sorry.

HERE is my sale thread.
The only imperfections that you won't find with a 20x loop would probably be on a NASA telescope mirror and then you still might.
High level proof coins even have some..

Gatrezal, please do the right thing and delete your threads on this Lifteime17 sales post.
Then start your own if you feel the need:)

Ok, Whatever..,the finish on the host had an obvious blemish and the front looked sloppy because of the goop or whatever it is. Maybe others can accept these things, but I can not. IMO He should have redone/fixed the finish and cleaned off the goop. Those things immediately stuck out to me when I first opened the package and I was very angry. Now I’m just sick and tired. But whatever, it’s done and gone. Live and let die. I like a lot of his work, I just didn’t like what I got “enough”. I am a miserable prick, sorry.

*edit: look at these pics and tell me that’s ok...🙄
I was offered a refund, but that doesn’t change the fact that the item was sent to me in this condition, and to me that says a lot.

Just want to help reassure members viewing Rich's (Lifetime17) thread that he is a honest and reputable machinist. The above posts do not represent his work in a fair manner.

That guy was banned and rightfully so. It wasn't the fact that he was a picky person but he attacked character, integrity and was just plain insulting. Said weird stuff too like the butt pictures which someone made it his avatar (lol) and just seemed like a down right mental case.

Hi Curtis,
Thank You very much I had so much trouble with this guy it was unbelievable . I couldn't find the pic of the Hexagon host he hacked up. It looked like he put a Dremel to the finish he destroyed it .
His comment was his hands were toxic and the powder coating just melted away.
Thank The lord he is gone . I offered to reimburse him 2x and he can keep the build and he said forget it he had lots of money from covid and doesn't care about money.

You're welcome Rich. :)
Agreed, it did look like his 'pickiness' had more to it and some of it was self inflicted damage or nothing at all.
exactly --he was a character for sure---was issues beyond reasonable"pickiness" and impulse control.
Usually people temper their perfect imaginings with the reality of the real world--most of everything he said were bizarre comments about his unusual in the extreme perfectionist gripes, imaginings, sensibilities.
Agree looked like self inflicted damage, go figure?
Probably is at odds with most everything in the real world.

Hi Red,
Yes he had problems for sure , in a post he said he had purchased a bunch of modules and they were all crap. he also said that he would flush them down the toilet with his meds. And he would put them away for his son to rip someone off on Ebay.
You can read what he said in a thread from yesterday , " How long does laser stuff stay good if you dont use it"
Rich:)

How much is this one? Seems you been dealing with a loony here lately, cannot believe he complained over that. With the shortage of hosts and parts for DIY laser building, these guys.....
