Hi,
Some pics of a SAIK SA 305 build, these are short and beefy bodies on the SAIK.
Feel good to hold in hand. In it is a 445nm NDB7875/2.4 xdrive/G2 lens and is powered by 2-14500 AW cells with an aluminum rod spacer i cut with electrical tape.A little crude but will modify that later. Had this diode in a MX900 host was never very efficient to start with. So it got a new home in the SAIK. Hope you folks enjoy it..

Rich:)

Cool, and I like the battery setup too.
I have decided to go with 3 cells for future NUBM44 builds if I use SXD's and that would also keep the starting length down for when I add my enclosed optical train/6x cylindrical pair.
I may add a bit of material to the heat sink though.

Hi Red ,
With 3 - 14500 cells you get 12.4 V . With 3- cells you get 8.2V. That new 6W 445nm or the new 1W Nug is going into the other Saik I have I think I'll order it this week or next..
