I am also interested in hearing any offers on my RPL Blue 30mW laser. I bought this laser just over 6 months ago directly from Jack at Optotronics. It is in excellent condition.

I'll put out a first offer of $100, since i have no idea what range the guy wants for it.

Friendly reminder, Stevo1997:

Most forum members are turned off by someone posting an item for sale and asking for "offers". If you want to sell the item, name a reasonable asking price and I'm sure you'll have far more interested parties. Obviously this goes for the Hercules 350 that you are selling as well.

The lowest offer I would take is $750. This also includes the rechargeable battery, battery charger, and case that came with the laser.

Stevo, which tail cap does it have? Also, what did Jack write for the peak power on the certificate?
Thanks,

The peak output power was measured at 36.2mw.  Attached is a picture of the unit showing the tail cap.

Do you have a power meter? I may be interested in this laser. I would like to know how it is measuring up after 6 months...peak/average readings.

One idea I have here...You let me know if it sounds reasonable. Since the laser has a 12 month warranty, perhaps I can contact Jack and ask him to check the laser. If he is agreeable, then you could send him the laser with everything included, certificate and all. After he checks it out, I could PayPal you $750, and then pay Jack for the shipping to send it to me. What do you think?

I do not have my own power meter. However my friend Mathyou9 and I will be taking our lasers to Weber State University in the next week or so. Their physics professor there will be testing the output power on all of our lasers. This is the same professor who has pictures from his lecture on lasers posted at optotronics. If you are interested I am sure I could ask to see if Jack would retest the unit as well.

I edited in a suggestion just before your last post...
What do you think about this?

That sounds reasonable to me. Just let me know what Jack says and I can get it shipped out to him whenever you want.

stevo, after talking to Jack, I found out that the 12 month warranty is not transferable. So, I'm sorry to say that I will have to pass on this. Even though it sounds like a very reasonable offer...
