i think laserbee was being a little facetious... :P

Ever since rkcstr raised his prices I've taken it as an opportunity to become more self-reliant...

My latest version of the lobsterdrive is small enough I could fit two of them inside an aixiz module, and they cost less than a dollar to make. This one has a pushbutton on it, and I plan on cramming it inside a little 2xAA host.

Teach a man to fish, eh?

All my drivers come out blurry like that... I think maybe it's the kind of solder I use. ;)

Actually I'm using the webcam in a laptop, it's completely useless.

The driver is based on an LM1117 regulator, a couple capacitors, and a resistor. It's basically rkcstr's driver without the reverse polarity mofset, the bias diode near the output, and without a PCB, it's all point-to-point soldered smt components... actually, it's closer to the DDL driver, except with a 1117 instead of a 317.

Type of solder ROFL... ;D ;D ;D

That looks quite small... 8-)

Yeah... I build my own drivers as well... when I find the time I need to
design my own small boost drivers... ::)

The Rkcstr and drlava drives are great for someone with less assembly skills
or just doesn't want to bother...

BTW... I see you run your PCs like mine... with the left side cover off...
and Sata and IDE extension cables...;D ;D

omg omg omg!!! 15 minutes untill midnight!!!!

......i don't think rkcstr is going to show......

i got bored waiting and took one of the phr module apart and boosted it up to 170mA and it didn't blow....so now i am going to go shine it at airplanes and into peoples eyes, then my own, then i am going to kill small creatures with it before finally beating a poor old women to death with the host.......ah the satisfaction i get from lasers :)
