The two Rifle lasers I had (800mW version and 1W version) were both with an acrylic aka resin lens.

I'll post about the 650nm rifle laser when I get it, but AFAIK the lens has not been changed and will not be changed since Max says he hasn't had any problems with it, even after prolonged use.

EDIT: Actually according to tracking my laser should be at post office... has been since friday:thinking: I'll pick it up sometime during the week and report back:)

^^^Yup, saw that little while back.

It has the same module as the other green lasers, and considering there are quite a few reviews on them, I won't be ordering one.

Where did you get the tracking number? I believe I don't have one? And how long were your shipping times? I' been waiting two weeks now sinds it was shipped.

Hmm i checked my mail and the website .. No tracking number. Could it have something to do with my country? Ohwell i will mail max ;)

There's nothing in my junk mail. I always check that. But i never had tracing number from items that ship from hongkong.. For example EMS from DX isn't flr my country and tracked air mail codes never worked on hongkong post neither.. So i guess it's allright:shhh:
 
So far lazerer has been pretty good about delivery times, so I wouldn't worry too much.

Start worrying if a month passes and still no laser.

Picked up my 650nm from post office about an hour ago.

Host is obviously the same...

Did a very quick LPM test (battery not fully charged) and got a peak of 239mW.

This laser is going to be gutted in favor of a 635nm diode... but the stock version is exactly that it's supposed to be and more IMO:)
 
Is the rifle better than the arctic?
The rifle is cheaper, has extra lenses, its min power is 950mw while the arctics is 500mw and its smaller.

Think you basically answered your own question there. Rifle is the better option.

Cheaper, smaller, focusable, more powerful, faster delivery, better service...

I had an arctic and since I sold it... still have two rifle lasers though, and they are staying:D
