This thread is GOLD for those wanting a cyan beam...for not too much money.
I was enjoying mine earlier! My favorite color by far...and yes even at 66mw it
etched my initials on my dark wood desktop...very faintly!

Thanks again LED and happy 4th!

I will definitely whip the class 4 lasers out for beamage into the sky...in the past
the neighbors cheered!

I have a Sharp diode driven at 275 mA that measures exactly at 488nm with an acrylic lens at 135 mW output power. The part number is: GH04850B2G. I did a review of that with photographs of the build with bean shots.

Will 488 nm have a visible beam at only 5mw at night humid climate ?

But not travel too far or be visible from side ?
