Hello.
Long time since I made a review so here is a review on the Core from WickedLasers. I got it from finding some errors on the WL site. From the date that I found the error and reported it to the date that I got it was in total 13 days. Not bad for being WL.
PROS:
- Very good beam quality
- Awesome for a laser pointer to carry around
- Nice finish
- Fast shipping
- Nice customer support (only one of the assistants, a girl named Jeice Cruz)
- Nice packaging
- Smooth tailcap
- Sexy host
CONS:
- The other customer service people are not as nice.
- Didn't come with batteries.
- No bubble wrap or anything.. Could easily have been damaged
You might think I'm promoting WL or something right now because there aren't so many cons and there are more pros then cons, but the thing is that this is the core. I mean, what can you do wrong with a 5mW green laser? I have got some more WickedLasers which I will review, and you will see more cons on those then on this.
And now.. Pictures:
The case it arrived in..
The manual..
Safety information..
Inside the case.. Ordinary IKEA batteries (mine, not theirs)..
The way the batteries should go in..
Again.. Very smooth tailcap..
Some logos..
Hard to see but the sticker claims <500mW :undecided:
Dot..
Dot..
Dot in not lighted area..
Oh and.. the beam is visible in unlitted rooms (very dark rooms) and it is a little visible in a lit room (not to lit).
Did I mention that WL loves putting their name everywhere?
Good bye
And this is a very good 5mW green laser, it's a keeper I think. But for $29.95 I don't think its really worth it, but if you get it for free like me then..
