The scientists have created the shortest laser pulse ever. The pulse has a duration of a 67-attosecond of extreme ultraviolet light. In numbers that is 0.000000000000000067 second !!
1 attosecond – the time it takes for light to travel the length of three hydrogen atoms.
Or an attosecond is to a second what a second is to about 31.71 billion years, or twice the age of the universe
