Removing 2 second delay?

Guys I talked to the owner of lucent optics YEARS ago when I purchased a envee 120. He advised me it's very easy to remove the 2 second delay by removing one of the resistors from the board. I forget which one it was but I completed the modification and it worked GREAT. It now comes on instantly. If you really want to know which one it is I can open it up and take some pictures for you. The laser has worked great for 2+ years since then...
