If you have a G1 Arctic, it can be set up easily for remote control.



You need to take out the shunt plug and fasten a couple of contacts with 2mm screws (about 10-12mm long).

While you are modding, you can epoxy a 1/4 inch nut on the housing and make it tripod mountable.

The remote has a range of about 150 ft.

I purchased a garage door remote receiver and remote from dinodirect and connected a 9V battery to power it. Then two wires to terminals that are connected together when activated. Connect to shunt plug terminals, click on laser, and use the remote.
