Recommendations on a good source for 532nm modules?

I'm going to be ordering some modules for some builds, and I was planning an order from DX.

I figured I'd see if anybody had better recommendations first. I'd really like for some decent quality modules that will last when run around 120-150 mW.

Edit: A source on IR filters would be much appreciated as well.

Riven, go to thread "Reliable source for 532 modules" from 3-19-16.
This one covers some good places and questions:)

Rivem I'd also take a look at fasttech, if you're looking for relatively low power 532nm they're the way to go. I've had a couple go up to 150mW and average at about 90. Got em LPM'd by Flaminpyro, and they're only 5$ a pop, dirt cheap for that power. Takes a bit of driver adjustment to get them to the best power though, but also that the driver needs heatsinking regardless if you adjust it or not.

Thanks guys. I thought I remembered that thread, but I couldn't find it.

Those fasttech ones sound pretty good for so cheap. Have they been pretty reliable?

I'll second those fasttech modules; I've had good luck with them, all that I've bought have been overspec!
Pman would be the member here with the most experience with those 532nm modules, maybe he'll chime in with some info.

For the IR filters, ebay has a bunch of sellers, HERE is one example, you can probably find them cheaper yet. Many are 9.5mm x9.5mm x 1mm in size, so they should fit in a pen size build.

Thanks BowtieGuy, I think that the green laser I got from Pman actually used one of these. One problem is that it's a bit bigger than I'd like. Haven't decided on a host yet, but the module looks too long to fit in a lot of pen hosts.

It's a bit more than a couple inches, exactly 58mm. Also standard 12mm diameter. Not huge, but indeed a bit lengthy.

Yeah. Just looked at it next to a leadlight, and there's no way it could fit without cutting the module down. I'll look around a bit more.

Riven, there is a size difference between Fastech's 3V 532 modules and their 5V 532 modules. The 3V are shorter in over all length from laser tip to the end of the driver board and are a better choice to swap into a typical ebay pen. Pman prefers the 5V because the flexibility of using a 3.7 battery. These 5V have a different skinnier tip but are a bit longer. Both versions though are pleasantly way over spec:)
