It all seems fun and games until you turn it on, and you can't seem the beam. I find my 800mw infrared laser terrifying, this is because even though it has a key switch and shutter (thank goodness) you still don't know what it's reflecting off of.Exactly... He better also buy some appropriate Laser

I still think he should do some testing with IR LEDs
before he gets an a invisible and possible 200mW Laser.

I see nothing wrong with high power IR lasers. With proper protection. Goggles and goggles for bystanders. I would love to have a CO2 laser but that's someday. I am much more afraid of microwaves much more as they can cook you and stuff. Xrays scare me even more. why some people want them I have no idea why.
