Hey guys,
So here I have a small problem. In the game Mass Effect 2, there's a small sound output glitch as far as I can tell, goes unpatched.
What happens is, when game is played on 5.1 Sorround system, the Center/Bass is glitchy, in the way that, sounds such as gunfire and dialogs, meant for primarily Center output, sound very "shallow", as they are not "bassed".
Data that does manage to get to the Bass speaker sounds good as far as I can tell.
I've always played the game on headphones, and managed the output as such, and everything was fine. But now I'm playing it on 5.1 system, turned up good, and since I care about sound quality, it's kind of a setback for me.
I have integrated sound solution on Gigabyte M52P-S2L motherboard, Realtek one, and Realtek HD sound managed software for it.
In every other game and application, sound is great. Just for Mass Effect 2 where only center is used, instead of both Center/bass.
Now, I'd accept a solution where one would make Center/Bass output a Mono one, that is data for center or bass gets sent to both speakers at same time. Should do very good.
But what I'd prefer, is to leave current Bass line intact, and only "bleed off" the Center output, to the Bass output.
Could somebody help me out with that? Anybody know a software which could be used for something like that?
