Yea i love my mammmoth! It is running origional NOTHING but the motor!!! LOL one day the damn thing went outta range... and found its way across the HUGE desert to the ONLY rock of size to hurt it and hit it at top speed :/ i lost ALL parts except the motor (that was a sucky re-build!) but i got a billit servo and electronics box for it and a (in the words of jayrob) SCHWEET roll cage!

Been there before, its hard to explain the feeling of the instant lack of control, kind of like sick to my stomach and my hearts racing like I just ran a marathon. It happened with my very first nitro, the original T-Maxx. I think the batteries died just as I pulled the throttle. It took off, what seemed like faster than it ever did before, across my backyard and hit a horseshoe stake, tearing off the entire rear drivetrain assembly. The chassis and front end kept on truckin' to the neighbors house, hit a patio chair, spun around and came right back towards me. About halfway through my yard it hit a tree root and pulled a quick turn right into the grape vine covered fence which it proceeded to get tangled in. Quickly I dug it out and shut off the smoking hot engine. Since that day I have made sure to install a throttle return spring and a fail-safe in every nitro car before I ever start it up. :yabbem:

Hey thinking about getting into the hobby again. I used have a Grasshopper, Lunchbox, Monster Beetle, and a Porch race car (forgot the name) with a Blue Diamond motor that did around 50Mph. Yeah you can see how long I've out of the hobby LOL.

I want a 4X4 RTR, electric preferred. I have a couple of Blu-Ray lasers to trade. One is this http://laserpointerforums.com/f64/fs-7935-host-complete-kit-43867.html. Its being built right now with a 120mW PHR and Flexdrive.
The other is a 3405 with Jatrob heat sink, with a 120mW PHR. The body has been professionally anodized with a cool pattern. The heat sink is anodized a solid violet.

Thats a 6X diode in there, but it died. The PHR will be new. Both lasers have 0 minutes on them. Except to see if they work obviously. Batteries are included.

I have no problem using a middle man.

I have a Kyosho Lazer ZX-5 (electric).


Really great car, but I don't have much place to use it here, and 5 month a year it's winter...

But every year I go to a lake, not so far from where I live, for two weeks, and I race it down the mountain trails.
