Those gears are wild. I dont think I have the math skills to try to make my own versions though. :yabbem:

That driving simulator was cool too. I was in one once, and it was a wild ride. I cant even imagine the thrill that thing would give you at high speed.

Damn, thats an insane amount of work. They better sound fantastic. Looks like they would fit a Stanley Kubrick film. Maybe thats why they call it The Odyssey, LOL. It could easily fit in A Clockwork Orange too.

I spotted a similar set in Hong Kong at the electronics show. They look awesome in real life, but alas they where not wired up. The name given "Nautilus". Very fitting.

Now this is what I call dedicated! I wonder how they sound? They sure look cool!

I could do the woodwork...I know I could. It's just the rest of it that would stop me  Although...it does give me a most wonderful idea...one I'm sure I could accomplish without fail...now I just need funding :D

I could build it. I'm good with fiberglass, and finishes. But you'd need a detail measurement diagram, and the proper audio system.

I listened to a $12,000 set up at Tweeter, and IMO for the money I'd pass. I guess if you were a classical fan, it may be worth it. But Led Zeppelin sounds just as good on any mid-quality, high power set up.
