Questions about a 400mw 532nm laser pointer

Chubby fingers, meant nm's not mm's or maybe I can blame it on auto correct -----edit, confused , Wait a minute, I did write nm's , the wave length is 532 nm's is it not ? and they do produce a lot of ir. What am I missing ? :thinking:

There are no 532nm diodes, you're meaning 532nm DPSS modules, which can produce a lot of IR. The wording is only slightly different and most people would understand what you mean.

Ok, understand now, through me for a loop. Even went to eBay and typed in " 532nm diode " and a whole bunch came up, so I had no idea what was going on. I got it now. Thanks for spelling it out for me.
