Yep. ;) I have one (driver) and am getting 25mW out of mine. My diode came frm an XBOX360 HD-DVD drive though.

Are you sure about it? , I mean are you sure the PS3 diode is the same as the XBOX360 diode like yours? and is is the same colour (405nm) ?

I am sure that I am getting 25mW out of my diode that came out of an XBOX360 HD-DVD drive. Yours will most likely not be as powerful.

I guarantee the 405nm. ;)

Look for the Blue Abomination, that's my Lavadrive2-powered, PS3-bluray, Leadlight 110 that Dr. Lava built for me. I haven't taken delivery yet, but the photos should be all you need to be convinced.
