Well I probably should have posted my question before I purchased, but too late now... But I found a deal on what I think are some legit safety goggles. The company is German, and they do alot of work in the medical laser industry. They come with a spec sheet, (that kinda makes me feel better about the purchase. I'll be using a 1.6mw 445nm, 300mw 650nm (I know I need another pair for these), and a 5mw old Jasper. I did a search on the forums, and didn't find anything. Thoughts?!?

Specs:
Orange color
DBY#34
Left reads-
190-534nm +960-1064nm OD 7+ 850-925nm OD 5+
925-1070nm OD 6+ 35%

Right reads -
180-315 D LB7+ R LB4 >315-534 D LB5 +IRM LB6
>925-980 D +D LB5+IRM LB6 >980-1064 D LB6 + IRM LB7
850-925+ >1064-1085 DIRM LB5 NIOR

It will certainly protect you from your 445nm. OD7 is a lot. It will let only 0.16 microwatts through from you 1.6W. Its VLT is kinda low though. I have no what LB means. Pics of the spec sheet please.

I'd go for some ARG-filter type goggles, as they give you about 50% VLT and that same protection you have there. Still, you have good protection with those which is what is important, especially if you got those at a good price.

I figure for my budget it wasn't too bad. Should have them in the next day or two.

Tried them out tonight. And I can't see a thing outside distance wise. Back inside the dot is visible.
