i have seen a few builds where the sled are used to combine different aixiz modules but i have a new suggestions for another use
i bought a couple of sleds but doubt it would have good collimation at a distance and still get your complete beam dia into the cube. Beam dia at that distance from lens looks like 6mm across to me and the cubes are a mere 3mm and 4mm.
i know this method already works but i would like to use the pbs in a more efficient way since the cost of the larger ones are so much and most of these are going to waste.
i propose a project were we can focus the aixiz module to the tighter point roughly 1.25" from from lens and place a biconvex lens or other collimation optics "optics are not my field" so that the beam profile can be optimized for this small aperature.
My reason for this is shown below:
i have seen this done and it looks tedious and expensive with 12mm or larger pbs at 30$ each.
here is the awesome beast:
thankyou arctos and i would wear some glasses with that
i propose all the diode modules be mounted on one same axiz and pbs mount on smallest xyz mount we can find mm1 i guess.
i would just need help in finding the correct optic's to complete the proposed idea.
same could be done for blues.
anyone with exptertese in this field please help!!
