Re: Professionally looking 200 mW green laser on e

I bought one of these lasers a few months ago from the same Ebay seller for just under $200 US.

It's a CNI PGL-III-A-532, my best guess places the output power at 100+, possibly 125mw or more. It lights matches, pops balloons with ease and completely blows away my older 55mw. The beam is quite powerful and very impressive in the night sky, which was it's intended purpose.

Having said that, the seller definitely needs to tone down his ridiculous over-hyped description (200mw output, "disco plug", Spider II GX comparisons), but I will probably not leave him negative feedback for this transaction. Considering what Nova and other respectable companies charge for the exact same product, I consider it to be a very good deal.

Also, CNI does indeed manufacture a 200mw PGL-III-A-532.

do you guys think it is worth the risk? Even if it is ~125mW, then it is still a good deal for a CNI laser surely?
