Problems with my >80mW Green Laser!!!

Hi all, I have some problems with my >80mW green laser :(.
I've changed the batteries, and the Laser module slidet out a bit. I pulled it back. I put the new batteries inside it an now nothing works anymore. With the old batteries it doesn't work too. Sometimes it flash really short if I turn it on an that was it. I think it isn't dead, because there doesn't come any IR light out of it too. What can I do?
 





First and foremost, DO NOT look into the laser.

From what you're describing though, it sounds like there is just a bad contact.
 
I don't look into the laser. i tested it with an old webcam. I thought it has bad contact too, but it don't do anything if I press the Button. After Pressing it loger, it flashes and then nothing.
 
it is a host like an olike laser. i think they are the same. (polished silver host) . i've tested the module without the case. don't work too.. i think there is a problem witz the driver. it doesn't look really qualitative.
 
try to resolder the vin and gnd also bypass the switch, check if the diode pin's aren't loose, broken, desoldered, etc :) good luck

take a photo of the module with driver maybe we'll see something there :)

okay i will try this. at the moment im not at home, i will try it this evening.
 
YAY it works now!! thanks all, especially foulmist. The gnd pin wasn't ok. I've resoldered it an now everything is alright :)
