Hi everyone!
I'm building a laser burner, but I can't make it work.
I followed a Youtube tutorial, and this is the circuit I made to give power to the laser:

PD: I checked the output with a voltimeter/amperimeter and all was right, 3v and 0-250mAh with the variable resitor.
I used lots of lasers of DVD and CD burners, but all of them did not work, they only give a poor brighteness little red light.
These are some images of these DVD/CD writers:

Hope someone can help me, and sorry for my bad english.

Maaaaaan that's a really confusing circuit. As LC said, just check that thread.
Also, don't use CD laser diodes because they're infrared, and you could blind yourself without knowing that the laser is even working

Check the cd-driver again you may have pulled the IR-Laser not the Red Laser 650nm
