Problem with Cyanogen 7 Android Mod

I recently installed Cyanogen 7.0.3 on my HTC Desire to eliminate all the crapware that the phone arrived with, but this seems to have caused another problem. Apps over a certain size will no longer install. I'm not exactly sure at what size the cut off is, but the larger apps like flash, Google Earth and others fail when I try to download them from the Market while smaller apps are not effected. Any suggestions? :undecided:

I'm not sure what to tell you about your problem. Try posting here CyanogenMod Forum there may be other people having issues same as you. Could be anything. Bug, software issue, phone specific ect. Anyways good luck.

Edit: Did you make a backup? If so flash your old backup until you get one that works. Alternatively you can download and flash an older update.

Nope, I didn't take a backup lol. I can still install larger apps from apk files on the SD card and the "EasyInstaller" app, so I can still install and update larger apps. It's just a lot more difficult than through the Market.

Even if you want to deal with the problem (as annoying as it may be). You should still post it. The reason is if it is a rare bug or a common bug the developers can be aware of it and if you get a solution then other people can fix it too.

mv download download.bak
ln -s /mnt/sdcard/market-download-cache download
ls -ahl

After the first line I get some stupid permision error. Surely there is a way to fix this without using some obscure command line crap? Oh yeah, it's called an iPhone.
