power cord needed for a compaq laptop

anybody have one of these to part with--Passario 1500 laptop cord--18.5 vdc- center pos plug with yellow tip--older than dirt but a freebie- so i don't want to buy a new cord for a PC that may not even work--trying to get it working for a charity==help plz

Try ebay for a cheap cord
You'll need a more specific model number to get the correct one

I do know how to search=ya know?? looked at those first--but what will i do with it if the pc is a no/go--its really for a SPCA charity--I need a free one.
