um... If we go back to the actual topic of the thread, I wasn't asking anything about pot modding, and I specifically stated I bought it just to experiment. I could not find a thread about someone not being able to get the module out of the type of laser I'm using. I asked for help getting it out, not criticism on my non-existant decision to Pot Mod. I know the consequences of Pot Modding. I want to pot mod it for knowledge, not to increase the power.

Hey there. I bought a cheap 50mW for the purpose of pot modding. I've heard a lot about it and thought I would try it.

Wait, so because you're pot modding a laser that you don't plan to use, it's not pot modding? :wtf: It's still pot modding, no matter what you call it. Oxymoron of the day.
