It's a joke. There's a pot that controls the current, so you can "pot mod" the laser by turning the pot. har har.

First I was like 'huh?' but then I LOL'd

Yeah pretty much, got rid of that stupid keyswitch and put in a pot.


Now I can vary the power from just at the lasing threshold (looks to be about 20uW) to 1,500mW.
