Beam shots are not necessary, but might be nice.
I don't know if this has been done before, I could not find it with search.
I'll start with all my working lasers:
Just my high-powered gear. (My adjustable 420mA driver is headless at the moment)
Some scrap from blown up laser pointers and harvested drives. Useful for recycling.
My laser diode graveyard (missing are the 5 pointers in the previous photo, which are also dead)
