just wondering what bands you guys have heard of that have interesting names.
im not talking like all shall perish and the faceless.

i mean like this.

We butter the bread with butter. - german band. amazing.
and
we came with broken teeth. - amazing grindcore. drummer is intense, sounds like a drum machine though.

Mine are definitely not as interesting as yours, but I have always found the following band names interesting:

Creedance Clearwater Revival
Greatful Dead
Jefferson Airplane
Pink Floyd
Daft Punk

These are the ones I can come up with atm.

From Autum to Ashes
Five Finger Death Punch
3 Seconds to Mars
Funeral for a Friend

I have a ton more, but those are the only ones that come to mind right now. I'm not close to my pc at home.

is that what gwar really stands for?
job for a cowboy is beast.

checking out the others now.

yes that is what GWAR stands for....
All the heathers does not have a record deal so you wont find them easily, But I've booked them for a few of my shows and I think they're great guys. I can list a shit ton of local bands that I've dealt with but most of them won;t make it... the kids from ATHAD might do something big eventually...

interesting.
im actually on long island now haha.
what are some good local grindcore bands?

Led Zeppelin
Children of Bodom (referring to the kids that were murdered at Lake Bodom in Finland, don't like their music though).
Black Rebel Motorcycle Club (no-bullshit name and great music)
As I Lay Dying (don't like very much of their stuff)
Dario Von Slutty (weid Danish opera-like music with vulgar lyrics)
Coheed and Cambria
Rent Mel (means Pure Flour, in Danish the expression not to have pure flour in your bag means there is something suspicious/dishonest about you)
Egypt Central
Thirsty Merc
Chamillionaire (Is he a rich chameleon? Does he have a million chameleons?)

I think that's about it for now
Seb

well theres so many... a few that I've dealt with and like are
Uncreation
Death Becomes Her
The Saints of Pain
FXzero
theres a ton more, I'll have to look at my old flyers cause I forget alot of them

i listen to children of bodom every so often, intersting story, never knew that.
as i lay dying is pretty emo lol, but there drummer is pretty good.
coheed and cambria is awesome.
LMFAO @ chamillionaire, never figured that out either.

checking out the others now.

You're giving rep because they like the same bands as you do? Another reason why the rep system is BS.
