Instead of trying to find a way around it, why don't you just take a little time to learn how to do it? Get the equipment, materials, and a couple of old PCB's. View a tutorial or two on YouTube. Then practice on the PCB's until you can confidently solder a joint in less than a second.
You're going to end up spending the time getting and figuring out how to use the "locks" anyway. Why not get some life-long value for your effort.
You could learn this in less than a week.
