Hi,
I´am new to this forum.
I saw a video on youtube where someone hooked up a blu-ray diode to a plotter
to etch copperboards.
My Question: Do have lasers, for instance from dvd-burners, enough power to cut through 1,5 - 3mm of plastic ?
My Idea is to use a plotter as a bga stencil cutter.
So, is it possible?

Ps. Already inserted links but I do not allowed to post them because of the 10post minimum restriction.
For the youtube video please search for "Laser-Photoplotter Platine"
An article about bga soldering can be found on sparkfun.com, search for "Solder Paste Stenciling"
A picture of the plotter as attachement
